Ice

The ice this morning was so beautiful, standing up like mini forests across the lawn and gate posts (in extra). It was -1C when I got up and went into the garden and only around 3C by lunchtime. The skies were clear, the air crisp and dry and it was a winter's day to enjoy before tomorrow's rains and, for some, probable snow.
