Wake Me Up

Time to catch the ferry home for me (Annie) today. Bilbao to Portsmouth, roughly 24 hours of sailing. I've been pretty impressed by the boat - it's been much more relaxed and less crowded than I thought it might be.

I sat on the back deck for a while, watching the Spanish coast disappear and the water leap around in our ship's wake. At about 4pm we sailed out of the solid sun of Spain, and into a deep grey bank of cloud. I couldn't help but feel that was the last I'd see of the sun for a while...
