Ice block

I removed this block of ice from Reg's outdoor water bowl this morning. There is nothing unusual in that during the winter months, but I've never had one with a stalagmite before! 
It was pleasant enough to have coffee on the garden bench again today, extra photo. I love these bright sunny winter days. Unfortunately it all seems set to change. Tomorrow we are forecast grey and mist and heavy snow from the early hours of Sunday morning. Hopefully Barry's mum will be home from hospital tomorrow so we can get her settled in case we can't get there again in the next few days.
Both mums are demanding a lot of my daily energy and headspace just now and I can't settle my mind to do anything interesting or creative.
Definitely a day at a time right now!
