of flowerfridays

how do you resist pink - to begin a new year - while at the same - time celebrating flowerfriday - it simply isn’t possible - so i didn’t resist the urge

while i was running - a quick errand at the market - i breezed through the - flower section to see if there - was anything in the - bargain bin worthy - of bringing home - the fragrance hit - me before i saw them - i knew they were some - kind of lily but was - surprised to see an - almost perfectly packaged bunch - looking yet couldn’t find - anything wrong with them - perhaps they ended up - there by mistake - you can see by this - bloom there is naught wrong - it’s gorgeous as is

so i brought them home and then discovered - they’re not ordinary lilies - they are called rose lilies - how fun is that - clearly a delightful way - to begin the year - and an easy way to make it…
