Danksound's Musing

Frost

It was another lovely day so we went down to the canal and walked to Paddington Station. We needed a loaf of bread so it was a good excuse to get out in the cold air.
Patches of frost were still hanging about in the shade which is the main picture. We saw the usual birds (mallard ducks, moorhens, coots, seagulls, pigeons etc on the canal and also found two brown tufted ducks diving. We didn’t see the Swans or the Egyptian geese today. We passed Little Venice as we walked down the Paddington Basin branch of the canal. We saw the moon and Venus on the way back at 4pm and still light. See extras
We got bread at the new Gail’s bakery at the Station. Longest walk yet and my daughter now three weeks after surgery. Doing well.
