The hellebores in our garden which were in bud before we went away over Christmas are starting to open up now although if tonight’s forecast snow transpires they will be buried by the morning!

Yesterday evening we walked up to the village to meet our son, daughter-in-law and eldest two granddaughters in the pub for a meal. The Moon and Venus were incredibly bright in the sky.
