Gently down the stream

Silly Pidge

Today was again frosty and very cold, but back to grey skies.  I didn't have a proper reserve walk, deciding instead to walk through the park into town for the exercise, taking the camera and small lens for perhaps a street shot.  At the end of the park is an area where people feed the birds.  There were a mass of pigeons there today, all very hungry, and several people feeding them.  I took one or two shots then this silly feral pigeon decided to jump up on my arm and sidle along to my hand.  Here it is asking for food as I'm holding it up with one hand and taking a couple of blind shots with the other.  I'm not sure which of us felt the sillier!  Whatever, I've tagged it for this month's Silly Saturday, in memory of Admirer.  Many thanks to Kanga Zu for hosting.

I have to say I expected it to be a little aggresive or scratchy, but it was the gentlest thing.  Don't you love those pleading eyes?

I haven't done a lot else today.  Bought a bit of food to fill in the gaps, did a bit of tidying and cleaning downstairs now all our Christmas dogs have gone home and generally had a peaceful time.

Hope your Saturday's been a good one  xx
