To Peebles to first foot the mothership. She was pleased to see all three of her 'children' and had made turkey soup to celebrate. 

We talked about our respective experiences of the festive season, including my niece and her friend attempting to walk home through a blizzard after their car became stuck, which very nearly resulted in tragedy.  Everyone agreed she is a fud. 

Owen arrived from Embra clutching some new tech on his phone. He has set-up Bunnycam so that he can check on the behaviour of his house rabbits. and if need be, his disembodied voice can shout at them if he sees them chewing on furniture or his painstakingly laid wooden floor. He got to test it several times in our company. 

Grandma was in good fettle but soon tired and so we retreated to our homes, and I've got down to the serious business of servicing my trail cam, wiping Aunty K's iphone, catching-up with my Duolingo French lessons and sketching some ideas for the re-design of the kitchen/diner/living-room.
