Rock Man

Ben’s Little Rock Man,

Ben had a rock painting kit for Christmas.. what could go wrong??! He was a bit of a liability with the paint and well, all of it really.. but here are the results! My contribution was the bluebird, you have to keep yourself entertained in these messy moments :-D
Ben had the carers today which was great in some ways, we haven’t had any breaks since he finished school for Christmas so we were very ready but we can track him on an app and we could see he was having behaviour incidents and had broken his glasses so we certainly didn’t switch off, knowing that things weren’t going well and worrying what the situation would be once he got home. We managed to walk the dog and take older teen for lunch though, so that was a win and we did some shopping for Ben’s birthday on Monday, so we’re feeling prepared. He was actually ok once he got home, he’d had a nice time (in spite of the incidents) and we were able to get him to the opticians to mend his glasses which was vital as he’s 16 on Monday and will have to start paying for repairs… I think next year is going to be costly :-/
