Forever Friends

My friend Gina and I had this little blue ‘Forever Friends’ bag and have been exchanging it for years with a small gift in side.  We had a second bag that used to go back and forth as well so we always both got a gift. 

Gina had the bag when she passed away and I asked her husband if I might be able to have it back.  He said of course and let me know that it was already filled with a gift.  After a busy family Christmas, he came to see us today and brought the bag.  I love the little blue cat that was inside, a gift from my departed friend.

We had coffee, cake and lots of chats, it was a nice afternoon.
