Someone needs a haircut…
I was given this rather magnificent plant for my 60th birthday almost 4 years ago and it has thrived in the bathroom. I’m rather nervous about trimming it but I fear I must!
Today has felt very much like a Sunday rather than a Saturday other than when I had to go to the retail park to pick up a gift for PHL’s sister as we are planning to head to Aberdeen in the morning to visit on her birthday. The car park and surrounding roads were heaving and almost gridlocked. I eventually got parked, dud my shopping and fortunately didn’t have to wait too long to be let out of the car park.
My brother in law and the children headed up to Aberdeen this morning whilst i was out walking Phin in a very icy Newbattle. It’s been quite peaceful since I got home.
I did participate in an Indian dance class after lunch with some fellow members of our rotary club. We’re having an India themed evening in February and are putting on a dance display. It was great fun even if I don’t know my left from my right and struggled to do one of the moves which involves the opposite arm working with the opposite leg (if that makes sense!). I’m sure I’ll get there in the end.
A nice hot bath and catching up on Call the midwife and all seems well.
