So delicate..!

It’s been another day visiting Iris’s flat and we’ve ended up with sacks and bags ready to take to different places. Tough but we’ve laughed at some things she kept and that we all ( maybe) have in those kitchen drawers. Sam and Lea have been delighted at some things they’ve found which have set of a load of family memories.

We’re a bit beyond the bomb site stage but will need maybe two more visits before we hand over her keys.

One of Iris’s hobbies from years ago when her eyesight was much better, was egg crafting. This was one I always admired. How did she do that without the shell breaking! Iris gave it to me some months ago but I needed to have something to take it home safely so it’s stayed in her display cabinet. Today it’s home and on the mantelpiece.

Yesterday I was blessed by time given to me by bank staff. No rush and completed there and then without online ‘messing.’ More ticked off the list.
