The Drying Room

Much warmer at home than at the pottery at this time of year so I dry things here.   These all the product of a couple of visits to pottery this week where the clay was rolled and cut.  The daffodil candle holder and the house were assembled at home.   Pottery will begin to return to normal this week but I am away for the next four community sessions so anything I do at home is a bonus,

A gentle day at home apart from a chilly walk with Meg along the river where we saw snow on the top half of Cader Idris.  Rain arrived early evening but there will be more snow higher up before a brief mild spell brings a thaw.

This afternoon I cooked a huge dish of baked spiced red cabbage, a batch of mince pies and enjoyed the pork casserole I had put in the slow cooker earlier.  So if nothing else. I have definitely fed the inner man!   Now catching up on festive Pottery Throwdown in tandem with Ruth who has snow in Birmingham.
