Beloved Piney Point Light

Another blustery day at Piney. WNW 18 with gusts to 31and feels like 19 when I was at the Light. We spent the day getting ready for the forecasted snow and winter storm. We bought a new 100lb gas tank for the apartment gas fireplace and a new regulator for us and them. We shopped for comfort food for us and the birds. Sugar still has plenty left from Christmas. We ran into the tenants at the grocery doing the same. I went in the sewing store for some needed beads for my latest antique bulb purchase. I make pretty hangers for them out of the Swarovski beads. Might be a project if we are snowed in very long. The fish pond has been filled after the wind blew a large amount of the water out and the heater is on. Truck tank filled. Generator is at the ready. Snow shovels and boot treys placed by the doors. I guess we are as prepared as we can be. Some people we ran into are excited...me? not so much. Be safe...hope you enjoy the snow if it is your thing!
