Tri-Band

The ice made a crinkle-crackle sound as the waves lapped up against it. A wide channel had opened up in the ice, about 50' offshore, and the choppy water appeared very dark. A bright sunny day which disguised the cold (16°F), made much worse by a biting wind. I liked the tri-band graphic abstraction in this image, showing the extreme contrast of white, ice covered snow and dark waves.
