Lunar occultation of Saturn
The hen guardian alerted me to this impending lunar event, and the sky near the moon was clear, so I had a try to capture it. The tiny dot is Saturn, and we were able to observe that it disappeared when it reached the (dark) edge of the moon. About an hour later, it reappeared at the other side of the moon, but we could only just see it, because by then some thin cloud was covering the moon. The extras are in the reverse order of being shot.
This was done at a sub-zero temperature, and with thick snow covering the ground.
