Gala

Just back from seeing the New Year’s Gala Concert .
Kitty was dancIng with the Academy of Northern Ballet, ( students aged 14- 16)
Lots of Strauss as you would expect and l think seeing the dancers perform to The Blue Danube was the highlight for me.
Even managed a sneaky photograph ( kitty second from the right, back row).

We first had drinks and canapés at the Ticket Office provided by my son in law as his firm was one of the sponsors, Rebecca gave Elaine and l a lift there and back, so it was the loveliest of evenings and we avoided the threatened snow.
