Snowshoe!!

I had another lousy night of sleep but I was determined to get up into the mountains this morning. I reached the parking lot by 8:45 and set out. It was glorious and quiet. I met one group coming out as I was going in but other than that I was by myself. Right at the beginning is a little bridge over the Little Laramie River so there is a chance to see the snow patterns on the river. At about 9:30 the sun poked over the hill and I got some good shadows. 
It was hard work though. I was overdressed, forgetting what hard work snowshoeing is at elevation and going up hill. But it was totally worth it.
I headed down and stopped at Mom's to help her take down her tree and then I've come home and just putzed around. I think I'll sleep tonight.
