Mike on the Roof

... of the conservatory, re-waterproofing the join between it and next door's wall. It was very cold, and snowing nicely, now, at gone 11pm. Our garden is a mess, but we've done what we had time and energy for; the rest will have to wait. Tomorrow is Sunday, which is a rest day, then we only have Monday; we leave early Tuesday.

Today was Tom's birthday (our s-i-l). He and Mike went out to get the ingredients for a full English, including black pudding. Because Ju still not very well, she could be with us, instead of at work. She's twenty-nine weeks now, so into the third trimester. Tonight the family, including Beth, came round for takeaway Chinese, plus Beth brought a chocolate cake and candles.

Gratefuls:
- our Support Group being supportive of us cancelling a get-together, which meant we could just relax together tonight
- Tom, such a great addition to our family, and a good husband for our daughter; we are grateful
- snow, lovely to see, feels like a gift
