Ominous sky over Castle Sprookjeshof

Well OK, it's not a real castle. But the sky is real and sure enough we had rain shortly after this photo was taken.

Today we went to Sprookjeshof, a theme park in Zuidlaren. Of course our girls were with us and also Rosalie and Mylou, daughters of our friends. They were working and today and yesterday their girls were with us. Lots of fun and giggling, as it should with little girls.

This photo pretty much depicts how the day was: sun, blue skies and the occassional dark sky and some rain. Fortunately, there is lots of indoor entertainment as well for the children.

The girls said they weren't ready to leave, but we thought otherwise and when we returned home we all watched Charly and the Chocolate Factory (or rather Sjakie en de Chocoladefabriek as it is named in Dutch). Another great vacation day; next week it's back to work...
