A day trip

We woke to snow.  Robin built a snowman (1st extra), but Milo preferred to stay indoors and play with his cars (2nd extra).

We had offered both girls a day out in Copenhagen for lunch and then their choice of activity as a birthday treat - they chose a visit to Glyptoteket, a lovely museum.

We browsed our way through Roman and Ancient Greek statues and other art - one room was dedicated to some art that was about to be returned to Turkey, as it had been plundered from sites there in the '60s.

After a couple of hours, we retired to the cafe for tea and cakes, before the girls went to find the galleries devoted to French art.
