"A pretty little cargo boat"

Yesterday I got an email from a lady in Bochum, Germany explaining that she'd bought this painting of a ship she believed was called Malmo. She looked it up as you do and saw a reference to my Blipfoto post of a while ago about SS Malmo, the ship where my mother met my father. Her painting is of a 19th century vessel, clearly not the one where love blossomed in 1953. But it was lovely. I know folk who hate computers and the internet, but it was the internet which made this contact possible.
