Bejewelled

We're still feeling rough but possibly we are starting to turn the corner. It was still morning (just!) when we got up, and as you can see, we even left the house.

We were well wrapped up and didn't stay out for too long. Just a steady lap of the lower part of the Arboretum. It was raining in that fine spritz way that clings to you but it wasn't really cold. It's not really got light at all today and everything looked sludgy. Apparently there was snow this morning, but it was gone by the time we were out, other than the odd little patch.

I chose this shot to Blip because I liked that only this leaf had individual water drops on rather than just being wet. Also my phone has a feature where, if it thinks a photo is decent it suggests I order a physical copy. This is the only one taken today that got a recommendation!

Before coming home we called in to the Co-op for milk and cheese. I'd been craving a Gü dessert pot, but not at Co-op prices!

We should have been going over to see Jeri and family today - it is Jeri's birthday tomorrow. We had to cancel with being ill - Jeri and Paul have a big race next week so would not thank us for infecting them. We will go next weekend instead.
