Damp Sunday
A message from Sue suggesting an outing was met with a positive result, and I went to pick up Linda, then over to Sue and headed for Croyde. We went the back route from Braunton, where I spotted this old living van in the entrance to the farm.
There was a bit of mizzle in the air, as I parked up in Croyde and we started our short stroll down to the beach, there was quite a stream of water running down after the rain, and but we got onto the sand without getting wet. We hadn't walked more that a 100yds on the sand when the light mizzle changed to rain, and we made a hasty retreat, after a couple of grab shots.
We headed back towards Braunton, picked up the back roads again, and the Swans had made their way to the ditch along the road, so stopped, gave them a snack and took some images before heading to the Quay Café, for a welcome coffee, and toasted teacake ;-)
A most enjoyable couple of hours, despite the weather.
