Im and I went to London todayy.
Friends had (kindly) invited us to join them at the "Tirzah Garwood: Beyond Ravilious" exhibition, and we stayed for brunch afterwards which was an excellent opportunity to talk about the exhibition and to catch up. They also introduced us to another of their artistic friends, so it was jolly to catch with old friends and to make new ones too!
I found the exhibition rather (unusually) touching, and a fascinating insight into another human's experience and take on things. My picture shows some examples of the extraordinary marbled paper that Tirzah Garwood is known for, but she exhibited her distinctive "voice" in quite a range of styles and media.
