Yachts in mist

Yesterday evening we had some sleet, with some sign of snow settling on the ground.  However, as forecast for this part of Britain, it didn't last and, by this morning, any sign of snow had disappeared.  We were left instead with a grey, murky morning with limited visibility across the estuary.

That didn't stop a number of yachts sailing out and they showed up boldly against the misty background.

I'm no expert, but I'm sure the number of people aboard each yacht was more than required to sail it, so I am guessing this was a training exercise or, perhaps, a "sailing experience".
