The finished masterpiece!
Days of work and my birthday cake is complete!
All of it is edible and I can’t wait until tomorrow to have a slice!
The bottom tier is Pecan Danish Flavour - with pecan sponges, maple cream cheese frosting, a vanilla pastry cream filling and the most amazing pecan brittle that me and Horatio can’t stop eating the spare!
The top tier is chocolate with chocolate ganache!
The books are made with fondant and are hand painted and the paper is also edible.
I learnt some new skills making this and it’s my favourite cake yet!
