A crochet kind of day...

When I was having a look through my yarn stash recently, I found a shawl cardi I'd started crocheting in 2022 then abandoned with one ball of yarn still to be used.  I can only assume it was ditched in favour of a more exciting project.  Well it has been retrieved and today was the perfect day to start work on it again.

We have had a very lazy day.  Just what we needed.

D tried out his new heated blanket on the sofa and was asleep in seconds is very impressed.  I crocheted for an hour then decided to start the book Ele bought me (The Last Witch of Scotland) but only got three pages in before I also succumbed to a snooze.

Very concerned about the weather forecast for the weekend so have postponed pal Peter's visit to next weekend.
