What a day! Frost first thing, very cold, rain all day and tried to snow several times. JR was in two minds whether to walk along to the Commonwealth Pool to the gym, or just pay the £3 fine for not turning up (for a booking). But in the end she set off, having missed the once-an-hour Sunday service. But it wasn’t too bad, she said. But she got the bus back.
I didn’t poke my head out till later in the afternoon, when the sleet had stopped and it was just raining. I thought Archie would only go to the corner, then want to come home, but he kept going.
We went round by the Links. The pavements were slushy and a bit slippy not very pleasant, but Archie rushed around with his usual enthusiasm snuffling in every pile of leaves.
We spent most of the afternoon half watching endless episodes of ‘Escape to the Country’ (circa 2016) on an obscure channel. We like seeing all the lovely houses, with very cheap prices.
So, this is the acre tree outside the window. A bit of a PEB. (Pathetic Emergency Blip).
