Gundog training

It's been a wet and windy day, but surprisingly warm.
We all had a lovely walk in the woods, followed by a training afternoon, back to our normal sessions.
Keely was first doing scent detection, despite it being wet and windy (not conditions she enjoys so I put her coat on) she did exceptionally well not worrying about searching a JCB digger for a small piece of Kong hidden on it.
I was a bit worried going onto the next training session, Dina's gundog training. The weather was definitely against us, wind and leaves!?!
But she made it look like we had spent all Christmas training. Our trainer was particularly impressed with her retrieve when she went out picked up the dummy I had thrown for her then ignored a leaf that fluttered by and brought the dummy back to me.
