Guard dog!

I went to bed last night and apart from a couple of loo breaks, I slept almost eleven hours.  That is unheard of!  

D was already up and out on Lola's long walk of the day when I eventually got up, and when I made it downstairs there was chicken and veg soup simmering on the Aga and a delicious sourdough loaf (from the Coop, he's not that good!  :-)) waiting to be spread with butter.  D is a star!

The afternoon was again spent getting the house back to normal.  Everything is now bagged and ready to be put into the loft.  All that's left to tackle is the Christmas tree.  A job for tomorrow.

Alan had a swim this afternoon.  This is Lola guarding the pool room door.  She likes to keep an eye on what's happening around the house :-))

Hopefully the decs will all be back in the loft tomorrow then on Tuesday we can tackle my wee studio, which has been a bit of a dumping ground over the last month.  Keen to get back into it and start painting :-)
