A new addition to the family

Johanna had a black, very svelte and sleek, short haired cat. I think it was a Bombay. Her name was Charlie, short for Charlotte, and she had her for many years, about 18 I think. She is in the garden, along with our old cat, Robbie, and the dogs Jonty and Foxy.
She has been missing Charlie ever since she died and yesterday she got a rescue cat from the New Start Cat Rescue, where she has also been volunteering for a while now. Meg is pretty much identical to Charlie, another Bombay we think.
Meg settled in immediately and quickly took to Ruby and Eric, they both love her and, as you can see from the collage, she has made herself very much at home. Looking out at the snow, Stretching out on the carpet and snuggling down in Ruby's bed.
She is going to come and visit tomorrow at our house. I wouldn't have a cat myself but I do like them, I like all animals really but after having the two dogs, Jonty (Bichon Frise) and Foxy (Long Haired Chihuahua) we are looking forward to getting another dog, probably later on this year.
