A Summie Lantern

The Cameron Art Museum had their annual lantern ceremony today (Extra) to remember loved ones who have passed. A friend of mine stopped by with a lantern to decorate and then we went over for the "launch". There were a lot of people, but somehow we got the front of the line. After they're decorated you bring them to the table to get a little floater platform and then get in line to the launch area where one person loads them onto a rake like thingy and puts them in the water six at a time. It was a little chilly so we just stayed until Summie's was "launched".  A couple of shots in Extra.
