Laurie has suggested we think outside the box, but I am so bereft of ideas that all I could come up with is  a literal response, a new umbrella.
The previous one had done sterling service, but eventually just fell apart.
It's early evening and cool now, so I'll go outside and tick a few boxes in the garden.
