My day

Mono Monday

Laurie’s challenge is new. I always enjoy a new calendar or turning one page over each month. This year I have chosen dogs.

I have been looking at some old photos belonging to my parents recently and am enjoying the everyday photos especially inside the house. So here you have my kitchen, no tidying up done, it is how it usually looks. My kitchen has a window facing east and a small one looking onto a passageway to the back garden. This makes it nice and light. The downside is I don't have enough cupboards.

The photo I took this morning would be spoilt in mono so I have added it as an extra. On the way into town there is a large fruit market which has been there for the entire time we have lived in Bathurst. Today was the first time i have been in there. Woolworths ran out of eggs for pick up and their fruit was really expensive so we decided to drive out and see what was at the market. Well it had most things you could possibly want to cook with and I got apricots, peaches eggs and a few things I didn’t need. We will be going back even though it is quite a distance.

My comment made me realise it is 30 years since we moved here. It was early January so almost to the day. It doesn’t seem that long. Our children are now older than we were when we moved. Ouch.
