Slaughtering a Snowman

Deb and I took the kids and dog out in Rectory Park - not enough snow to make a snowperson, but a few rock hard ones around for them to vent their energy on. Bitterly cold, and wet gloves and socks didn't help. Coffees and babyccinos at Under Pressure did.

Delicious homemade soup, cheeses, and seedy bread with the Drews, and as ever, great conversation.

Most of the family coming round for a Last Supper of baked potatoes this evening. Meanwhile, thought I'd Blip early, and pack my laptop. Early start tomorrow.

Gratefuls:
- finding some good bits in a quick foray into Oxfam, first time in a charity shop this visit
- waking up to more snow, after rain washing the last lot away
- three tough grandkids; no moaning at the cold
