Back and Front

My favorite winter bird friend - hermit thrush - showed up this morning in the snow! S/he seemed to need a drink - good thing I have a heated birdbath! We got about 6 inches, I'd say. Very heavy wet stuff - or at least, wet after the original snow turned into a sleet and snow mix. In any case, having snow makes for good bird photo opportunities. 

Extras - Some colorful birds (Ms & Mr Northern cardinal and a blue jay), and my best girl (deer) with her two young who arrived this morning and begged for peanuts. Which I of course gave them.
