That Time of Year

People dumping their Christmas trees on Twelfth Night. It seems the 'tradition' of burning them on the beach has passed. Despite the expert opinions that say that the climate impact of burning them is fairly neutral there is still the pollution effect of the smoke that is a little anti-social for those living close to the beach.
Later it was back to football. Despite some attempts to even up the sides when it was too one-sided the others won by three in the end. At least I managed to score a goal this week, placed neatly in the corner past the keeper. Two other good chances were both well saved but on target. Not sure what they would have made my xG total.
