Help is at hand !

When we first moved to West Barns and were walking Zoe on the beach, this lifebelt marked the spot where we would leave the beach and head over the dunes to the salt marsh and the woods at John Muir Country Park before returning home.

Over the years it has become more and more obscured by the maram grass so it is now quite difficult to see from the beach which rather defeats the object of having a lifebelt available.
