Silvery birch in mono

First thing this morning the temperature was around 10c, by the time we set off on a walk it was 4c. What happened? The wind was raw and biting and not pleasant at all.

I’ve meant to blip this view before (perhaps I have?) It’s Gore Cottage camouflaged by skeletal silver birch. Heavy rain again last night added even more water to the swollen rivers.

Just faffed and wafted around this afternoon. Nothing exciting, menus, shopping, new spreadsheets. By the time I’d finished it was dark and dinner beckoned.

I’ve spent the last 90 minutes trying to get my fingers to do what the brain is telling them. It was the first session of Uketok for about a month. I thing Susan was having the same trouble with her fingers too.

Thanks to Laurie for hosting, it’s not on theme!
