In his element

Dan went across to Liverpool, yesterday, for his 'ENG 1' medical and a minor complication has arisen from that, which might take a few days to sort out. The problem is, he's supposed to fly out to the ship next week. 

To be honest, he could do without the stress, so this afternoon I took him 'round to PMT, the fantastic music shop that is just a few minutes' drive from us, and he was able to lose himself for half an hour or so, just noodling on a rather nice guitar. 

Oh to be such a good guitarist that I'd unselfconsciously play in the middle of a busy music shop!

After that, he and the Minx travelled up to Kirkby Lonsdale and I hung around to collect Abi from the airport on her return from a short break in Dublin.
