It's New

The Mono Monday theme is " New".  I decided to blip this bottle of  Estee Lauder Youth Dew perfume.  It was a Christmas present from Becky. ( I had requested it on my Christmas list ).  Thanks to laurie54 for hosting.

Estee Lauder created Youth-Dew in 1953.  It started off as a bath oil. Women who bought it to use in the bath soon began wearing it as a fragrance as well.  Apparently perfume was something to be bought as a gift and not something that you bought for yourself  but buying a bath oil was OK.

Most of the snow had disappeared overnight and it was just wet underfoot and not icy.  I was going to go out to the Co-op but in the end I didn't bother.  I didn't really need any shopping.  So I've had another day indoors. doing " nowt much ".
