Snow dusting

The temperature outside our house today was about minus 5°c. Up in the wood it felt a little warmer thankfully.... plus I always warm up quite a bit just from striding up the fairly steep slope to get there.
In the main photo my dog had just stopped to listen to something - hence the raised paw! The wood felt silent to me though.
