More snow

My husband was quite miffed to wake up this morning to find the cars covered in snow again. After all the rain yesterday it was unexpected and not forecast.
So he went out at around 11 to clear them yet again, only to see a really heavy sleety shower at about midday cover the windscreens completely. To say he was grumpy for a while is an understatement. Best not to mention it again!

I’ve spent a lot of the morning reading and generally keeping an eye out for birds in the back garden. The Jay has been down to the Christmas tree stump once but my shots weren’t good so here is an image I took this morning out of the window as the sun was coming up.

Last night at camera club we had a great talk from a local photographer from Wirral whose presentation was about photographing Liverpool. It was really interesting to see some places that we were unaware of and he was a good speaker too. If any of you are interested, his name is Geoff Drake and he can do talks in person locally and via zoom elsewhere(and he’s cheap!). He also had a book published last year in the Fotovue series.
