Mana
E's away being Granny so it's been a mixed day of odd jobs, waiting in for deliveries that may or may not happen, basement sorting, and an afternoon & evening with C covering karate revision, the training session, a meal and helping C unpack a ginormous game that's hoping to get played this coming weekend.
Generally I quite like unpacking and sorting games but C doesn't. In this case there were expansion boxes and no guidance where the expansion parts, cards mostly, needed to integrate (or not) with the main game components. I begin to understand C's frustration. I did the easy bit and punched out the million cardboard bits.
Then we failed at Bandido.
Apparently these are mana. A magical sort-of stuff. Not to be confused with manna, I gather.
