Tuesday already!

Where is time going? Already the 7th and our eldest packed up and left to go back to her boat today! Finally I may get back to my own routine.. I love having her here but don't find it easy to find time to paint with other people in the house. So, finally I swung a brush and painted my brush pot .. the trouble is that I don't like the colour version.. instead I prefer the monochrome so that is what I am sharing! i turned it to mono to see the tonal exchanges.. and am mostly quite happy with them .. phew! Colour will be worked on!
IT was gloriously sunny today.. that made a big difference all round.  I have started a deep clean through the kitchen as well. I have to do that in bite sized chunks as I lose interest quite quickly but the areas I have done feel much better and the declutter continues with the mantra 'don't put it down, put it away' spinning in my head!! (I think it is sinking in slowly!)
