Buds

Had a bracing, sunny dog walk this morning.  These buds caught my eye in the sunshine.

Caught up with Terry an old family friend who lives in Cyprus.  She's known me since I was 5 years old, she was our school secretary and as a teenager I babysat her daughter.  She was a close friend of my mother.

We enjoy our chats reminiscing about our days in the 60s and early 70s and the people we knew.  I have no other contact with anyone who recalls so much. My younger brother claims not to recall anything further back than 1971.  I have some memories of being 2 in the early 1960s.

It's going to be a cold night and week by the forecast.
