sand castles at Newquay beach

we drove to Newquay to visit the bluereef aquarium. As the weather was not very good today, we decided upon an indoor activity. It was very nice. The children spend some time at the beach where also many surfers tried to control the waves. They were building sand castles but the water never came far enough to flood it.
In the afternoon we had high tea at the Headland hotel. It was very crowded, so we asked if we could sit somewhere more quiet. We then had a private room where we had our tea.
A nice walk along the coastal path ended the day.
