surprise! SURPRISE!!

       It looked "old", then I saw it was in both Imperial & metric and thought "Can't be that old then?" - THEN - I realised we, supposedly, went metric in 1974 = 50 years ago; just over half a lifetime ago.
       And YET we can still buy a pint of Vinegar labelled 568 ml; not 550, 560 or 570 but precisely 568ml.  A pound of Honey, IF you can find one that isn't labelled 340gm, will be labelled 454gm not 450.  That said I've just bought 500gm of Butter, not 454gm.
