Home by the fire .

It's good to get things tidied up today and the Christmas decorations back in the upstairs cupboard. 
It's been busy - Jim set a wee bonfire going late this afternoon and we did some pruning of the apple trees and Wisteria that had blown off the wall in the storm. 
We had a nice walk and later opened this bottle of Bramble and Apple liqueur.  J said it reminded him of cough medicine when he was a child :)  
We have had these tiny hand made porcelain cups for nearly 20 years and I can remember using them only once . 
I think we should now use them - though the drink was a little tart !
